Police work stress has never been in greater attention. Since police work is extremely stressful as they are facing various issues. The aim of this empirical study was to examine the level of work load, work environment, nature of work and relationship with supervisor with work stress among police officers, in district Quetta Baluchistan. All the police constables were the population of the study. The mixed method approach was used. The descriptive analysis was done on 30 police officers, using simple random sampling technique by quantitative method through questionnaire. In qualitative method 7 respondents were taken as sample by using convenient sampling and thematic analysis was done. Therefore, the findings of quantitative method show that the work load is a highest stressful factor, while life threatening, social isolation, sudden work calls, promotion, salary issue were the major themes of the study. Present study recommends that the smart salary packages and value should be given to them.

INTRODUCTION
Like in many countries, the Government of Pakistan has spent large amount of money in order to function the police department. Police are more responsive to change, more answerable to the people and more responsive to criticism than almost any incident in the Pakistan. The idea of policing in peace keeping of a country empowers the operations of police exceptionally demanding and fundamental for the advancement of any country. Pakistan is a country that is distinguished by extremely stressful work situation owing to restricted resources and unnecessary work overload in general and particularly in Baluchistan. For last many years, police are being affected by stressful job negatively. Because police force has great responsibility in this country, so their satisfaction is essential for social development. Stress is quite a new trend at workplace of daily life and has become necessary effect on the society.
Job stress is a regular problem in every employment that effects on work performance. In most situation cost related to stress affect both the employee and the organization. Strict organizational formation, shift job, too much overtime, nature of work, workplace environment, relationships among colleagues and with supervisor can also cause severe stress. Although different level of stress is found in all professions, police work has long been termed as a high stress, and critical profession.
Statement of Problem
To find out the organizational stress of police officers of district Quetta.
Objectives
To find out the impact of work load and work environment on police officers.
To identify nature of work and strong relationship among police officers.

Significance of the study
The importance of this research is to underline the present situation regarding the reason for stress among police officials at work that influences their day by day lives. The results ideally have the capacity to shed a few impacts with the stressors among police particularly in Quetta district. Therefore, this study contributes knowledge about work stress and helps to develop a model. This study is also significant to many other organizations.
Literature review
Lipp (2009) investigated that the levels of organizational stress and quality of life in the police force in Brazilian states. The finding of study shows that the police officers consider their job very stressful and the common symptoms were irritability and feeling constantly tired and there is a need for organizational change within the civil police institution itself .The purpose of this empirical study was to assess the level of work load, work environment and personal conflict in relationship with work stress among police officers. The findings of study show that work load was the most significant factor to impact work stress. Therefore, workload should be less among police officers (Ansari et al., 2017).
Sudarshan et al. (2014) analyzed that the police job is restless job and harder because of no holidays which cause frustration and depression in officers the findings shows that there should be corporation of human resources for better performance of police department in study region.
Bano & Kumar (2012) determined the differences between job related stress between public and private sector employees. The findings of study show that both public and private sector employee face same levels of stress. Beigwa (2011) investigated that the effect of quality of supervision on employee performance and emphasis was also carried on the different techniques of supervision and different factors that effects employee performance.
Gyamfi (2014) explored the influence of job stress on job satisfaction among police officers from Ghana police service. The research carried out analysis of physical environment, role ambiguity, role overload, supervisor support and coworker. Support on job among the officers. The findings of study show that there should be attention on the psychological and physiological needs of police officers improve their job performance.
Kemboi (Ansari et al., 2017) determined that the aim of study was to fill the gap by establishing determinants of employee job satisfaction in public security sector of Kenya. The finding of study shows that leadership had the strongest positive influence on employee job satisfaction in security sector.
Demou (2019) examined that the effect of organizational stress and mental health in police officers. findings show that the organizational stressors can be targeted by intervention policy changes to secure officer wellbeing, a healthy work environment and benefits to the organization and the public are identified.
Ariami Wasserman & Deon Meiring (2016) determined that the which coping responses are used most by police officers in the South African police service and to investigate how the prevalence of these coping responses changes over time.
Bown & Compell (2007) examined that the empirical study of occupational stress conducted in a large provincial English police force. findings show that overall exposure rates are highest for organizational and management stressors rather that routine operational duties.
An-Li Sui et al (2011) investigated that the policing is a high stress and high risk occupational that is one of the top sleep deprived occupations, police officers who are doing night shifts suffer from physical and psychological determined effect police officers should pay more attention to their health and work stress.
Wiecko (2007) examined that the effects of commonly police stressors on the member of developing countries, the study indicates that organizational issues are stressful in policing.
Mcvaba (2008) analyzed that the policing is stressful occupational in south Africa where high level of crime and organizational transformation govern the role of the police officers. The purpose of the study was to investigate levels of occupational stress experienced by police officers and the strategies used to with stress.
Ganesan et al (2013) determined that the which job events are perceived as significant sources of stress in police work. Finding indicate the stress is due more to organizational factors then the to physical hardship on the job.
Seagrave (1981) examined that the extent of organizational change from traditional policing practices to community policing in British Columbia. The findings show that organizational change is evident in the content of federal and provincial policing documents of the larger police agencies.
Hassan et al (2017) analyzed that the police officers often experienced stress when executing their job. They utilized various coping strategies such as, cognitive coping, behavior coping, social support group such as close friends and emotional coping to deal with job stress.
Reiser (2019) examined that the training issues of police officers and police psychologist will become involved the common problem of psychologist have experienced consulting in a police environment.
Kwak (2006) examined the work place problems that where hypothesized to predict stress.it also determined whether community condition, taken status, and lack of social support explained additional variance in officer’s stress level.
Miller (2006) analyzed that the facts and statistics about police officer suicide and discusses the range of possible contributory factors to officers’ burnout and depressor suicide.
Martin et al (2013) determined that the development of post rheumatic stress disorder related by the associated risk and protective factors which is originated from the police as officers.
Litzenberger (2002) identified that the common stressors and the magnitude of stress reactivity in police officers during the on-duty police work and found that the difference between physical and psycho-social performing and examined both social stress on the job as well as anticipating stress.
METHODOLOGY
The present study used mix method approach. For qualitative analysis 7 respondents were taken as sample through interview protocol, convenient sampling technique was used, and quantitative data was collected from 30 constables through questionnaire, a simple random technique was used. The data was analyzed by descriptive analysis and thematic analysis.

Above table show that the sample comprises of 10 respondent in age group of 25-30 and this age group was facing higher difficulty in terms of work load (M = 1.6) then in their relationship with their supervisors (M = 1.2), then in work nature (M = .40) and they were facing little issues regarding environment(M = -2.00)
Above table show that the sample comprises of 11 respondent in age group of 31-35 and this age group was facing higher difficulty in terms of work nature (M = 1.0), then in workload (M = 72), then in their relationship with their supervisors (M = .54), 40) and they were facing little issues regarding environment (M = -1.4)
Above table show that the sample comprises of 9 respondents in age group of 36-40 and this age group was facing higher difficulty in their relationship with their supervisors (M = 2.0), then in work nature (M = 1.0), and little issues in terms of environment and workload (M = .00).
