This paper is an attempt to discuss and analyse the movie adaptation of C. S. Lewis’s The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe directed by Andrew Adamson and produced by Walt Disney in collaboration with Walden Media.

The aim of such approach is to have a more accurate understanding of Lewis’s life, his literary legacy, with special attention to the Chronicles of Narnia series, and, finally, the production of the movie based on the Lewis’s children’s fantasy.
