The Development of “Grinnies”
Back in 1998, when GRIN was still known as hausarbeiten.de and primarily a student community, the term “Grinnies” started being used to describe our members. We’re bringing that name back with our new referral program: “Refer Grinnies.” Grinnies are all the authors who publish their texts with us, and that includes you as a reader of our magazine.

How does the“Refer Grinnies” program work?
The goal of our program is to expand our Grinnies community while thanking you for recommending our platform. That’s why we’re offering 5 € for each person who creates an account and publishes a text with us through your referral.
How does it work? It’s simple: through your author profile on GRIN.de, you can generate a personal referral link that you can share with your friends via WhatsApp, Instagram, or email.
1. Spread the word
Your friend has never uploaded a text to GRIN or doesn’t have an account on our site yet? Then tell them about us!
2. Share referral link
Copy your personal link from your author profile and share it with your friends, e.g. via Whatsapp!
3. Collect your reward
You’ve shared the link? Perfect, now you can sit back and relax. As soon as one of your friends creates an account and uploads a text, you’ll receive a reward of five euros per new registered person. The money will be paid out together with your author’s fees.

By the way, your referral link is not only useful for bringing in new authors. If someone uses your link to purchase one of your books or any other text, you’ll earn an additional 5% commission!
